Metal Horse FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions contractors actually ask us, answered the way we'd answer them on a job site.

What does this cost?

It depends on your trade, your market and how much ground you are making up — but we quote a flat monthly number before you commit, and it does not change without a conversation. If your budget is better spent on a truck payment this year, we will say so.

Do you sell leads?

No. Shared leads get resold to three or four of your competitors and turn into a price war before you pick up the phone. Everything we build, you own — the site, the profile, the rankings, the phone number.

How long does SEO take?

Local visibility moves in weeks. Competitive rankings take months. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either lying or buying ads and calling it SEO. Ads work fast; SEO compounds. Most contractors need both.

Am I locked into a contract?

We work month to month. If we are not earning it, you should be able to leave without a lawyer. Ask us to put that in writing — we will.

What happens if it doesn't work?

We tell you, early, with the numbers in front of us. Then we either fix it or we part ways. What we will not do is send you a PDF report full of impressions and pretend that is revenue.

Do I own my website?

Yes. The domain, the site, the content and the analytics are yours. If you leave, they leave with you.

What is AI visibility, and does it matter yet?

When a homeowner asks ChatGPT or Gemini who to hire, the answer comes from sources those models trust. Getting your business into those sources is different work from ranking on Google. It is early — which is exactly why it is cheap to win right now.

Do you work with my competitor?

Not in the same trade and the same service area. Ask us before you sign and we will tell you straight who we already work with near you.
